Who We Are
The Perth Italian Festival WA Inc. operates as a non-profit organization.
Comprised of enthusiastic devotees of Italian culture in the community, the Perth Italian Festival Committee is committed to honoring Italian heritage while embracing the local way of life.
The Committee's primary aim is to cultivate goodwill and social connections across the wider Western Australian community. This is achieved through collaborative efforts with Italian businesses, clubs, associations, and local government authorities to organize community events and support local initiatives.
A little about our Logo:
The Bell Tower feature, stands as a significant landmark in Perth, serving as a focal point for all Italians to connect with. Its design incorporates the vibrant Green, White, and Red colors of the Italian Flag, symbolising unity and pride.
At 29 meters tall, the Spanda design adorning the tower represents the flowing ripples that bind the Swan River, land, and sky together. Visitors can engage with Spanda both from a distance, where its presence can be felt, and up close, by walking around and through its captivating structure. We believe that communities can resonate with this iconic feature of Perth, as it signifies Perth as a place we feel so lucky to live in, especially as immigrants who have made Perth, WA their home.
The inclusion of the color blue not only signifies the water but also pays homage to the vibrant "Azzurri" shade associated with Italian sports teams, adding another layer of significance to logo's meaning.

Why Perth Italian Festival?
The Perth Italian Festival is set to unfold in the City of Perth, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Italy. This vibrant event will feature an array of Italian cuisine, accompanied by wine, music, and dance, all taking place in the heart of Perth at Langley Park, near the scenic Swan River foreshore and lively Elizabeth Quay precinct.
This celebration pays tribute to the Italian immigrants who embarked on a journey to Australia, seeking new opportunities and a better future. Their contributions to the community and the cultural landscape of Western Australia are significant, spanning generations.
The Perth Italian Festival extends an invitation to local communities and businesses to join in this exciting and culturally enriching event. It serves as a platform for fostering connections between tradition and innovation, offering a glimpse into contemporary Italy.
For non-Italians, the festival provides a delightful opportunity to spend a day with friends and family, indulging in the sights, sounds, and flavors of another culture. It serves as a unifying force, bringing the community together to revel in the festivities.
